stolen from a whole bunch of my LJ friends ;)

Would you do meth if it was legalized?
No. Absolutely not - I've known people addicted to it. It's an ugly drug. I would smoke weed more if it was legal, though.

Abortion: for or against?
I'm pro-choice and pro-prevention. I would like to see less abortions performed - not because of legal limitations, but because of prevention and education.

Would our country fall with a woman president?
No. That's stupid.

Do you believe in the death penalty?
Yes. I'm not a huge fan of it ... but I'm less of a fan of extremely violent crime.

Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
Yes.

Are you for or against premarital sex?
I don't elieve in governing sex - especially since same-sex couples can't legally marry in most of the US yet.

Do you believe in God?
No. I don't believe that there is a God figure as we understand it, but I don't think that belief in God is necessarily a bad thing if it gives people comfort and helps them to make better moral decisions. (Not that all or even most people do, of course.)

Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?
Of course.

Do you think it's wrong that so many Hispanics are moving to the USA?
No. I think it's wrong that so many Hispanic people are being exploited for unsafe cheap labor and used as pawns between wealthy business owners and underpaid (mostly white) factory workers in the US.

A 12-year-old girl has a baby... should she keep it?
I really don't think that a 12-year-old has the necessary skills to be a good parent. I guess if her own mother helped her out?

Should the alcohol age be lowered to 18?
I consider it incredibly fucked up that an 18-year-old can run off and join the Army and use weapons and participate in war ... and can't go have a beer.

Should the war in Iraq be called off?
It's more of an occupation than anything, and I think that we need to ACTUALLY try and make measures to help them become self-sufficient so we can leave.

Assisted suicide is illegal..do you agree?
Absolutely not. I think it's an informed consent/choice issue, and htat a person who is gravely or terminally ill should be able to make that choice.

Do you believe in spanking your children?
There is a difference between beating and spanking. I don't think that spanking is the best method of discipline, but I'm not against it.

Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
Afraid? No. My opinions aren't that off the wall :P

The periodic Christian Nudist Convocation took place in July at the Cherokee Lodge nudist camp in Tennessee, and according to a dispatch in Nashville Scene, the group evokes skepticism not only from most Christians (who dislike the flaunting of naked bodies, even if innocently done) but from most Cherokee Lodge members, who see them as too intense for naturism's laid-back attitude. One CNC attendee acknowledged that many Christians would not approve of Cherokee Lodge, but to him "(I)t's Jerusalem." Another compared his work at nudist camps to missionary work: "(S)ome people get sent to Africa, some people get sent to South America and the Lord was like, 'I want you to go to nudist resorts.' And I'm like, 'Wow, what an assignment.'" [Nashville Scene, 8-2-07]

Dear neighbors:

I'm nice enough to not do laundry early in the morning when I wake up because it's a weekend. It would be nice if you, seeing my dirty clothes, didn't throw yet another load in the fucking machine! You didn't leave a basket in the room, so it's assumed that you're done. That's how EVERY OTHER PERSON in the building (out of the 8 apartments) does it. We're considerate, since there's ONE WASHER and we all need it.

Oh well. Next time you get all stompy at 5 AM, I'm calling the building management.

Flogging Molly/Dropkick Murphys KICKED ASS.

There were guys in kilts and TONS of beer. I was showered with a couple of them. I like the whole Irish "punch you in the face and then help you up after" vibe. I didn't like the fact that so many big sweaty men kept taking off their shirts and rubbing it on me.

I helped two girls out of the Dropkick mosh pit. Some guy fell into my arms, and I tried to pick him up but I couldn't, so Ryan and some other guys did help. ;)

I don't think that it's a "poor skill" to go to clinics and then not pay your bills ... not only is it unfair to people who work at those places and make a living off of it, but it's horrible for those of us that actually pay for health insurance and end up paying like $18/pill for Tylenol at the hospital because these people are not on top of their bills. Stuff happens, sure, but deliberately stealing from the American public? NOT OKAY.
